Volunteer

Each year, we have an opportunity like no other to welcome the city–literally a cross section of the whole city–to the Benton. We earnestly pray that we all will encounter Christ and feel community in a way each of us deeply longs for and needs.

In this, our SIXTEENTH year, we’re committed once again to creating a meaningful Christmas experience for the whole community.

This year we're excited to be at the Benton on Saturday, December 16th. Specific volunteer opportunities will be posted in early September. Use the links below to find out more and to contact us.

Invite

Think of others in your networks who (like all of us) need to to rest in God’s presence and feel community and invite them to share this experience with you. So many times, we simply hustle through the season, forgetting to be intentional about being present in the lives of those around us. This is such a great opportunity to welcome such a wide cross-section of the city... don't miss the opportunity to share it with others!

We hope you’ll join us for CFTC2023 as the whole city comes together for this unique moment that breaks down walls, builds community and lifts up the name of Jesus.

Where do I check in to volunteer?

Volunteer Check-in is located in Salem 1 this year - towards the middle of the main floor of the Benton Convention Center.

  • If coming from the main entrance (off 5th street) walk directly towards the back of the building - past the first set of escataltors and Winston ballrooms on your left - Volunteer Checkin will be across from WBFJ.

  • If coming from the SKYWALK - turn left once you enter the Benton, pass the escalators and the Volunteer Room will be immediately to your right.

What if I need a snack / rest while volunteering?

Nextdoor to Volunteer Check-in is The Volunteer Hospitality Room where we have food, beverages and encouragement for you as before, after, or during your volunteer shift.

We know CFTC is a LONG day - we want you to feel cared for too!!
