Experience Community

For the past fifteen years, local churches, businesses and members of the arts community have come together to throw a free citywide Christmas party that features live music and arts performances, original work by local artists, a make-your-own toy workshop and, Santa Clause. In 2022 1,000+ organizations and volunteers came together in the Benton Convention Center downtown to bring Christmas for the City to Winston-Salem.

Now, as plans are underway for the sixteenth annual Christmas for the City party on December 16th, we hope to bring a safe, community convening moment at the Benton once again.

Performing Arts
