Holding a Toy Drive is as
Easy as 1 – 2 – 3

  1. Get the word out. Tell your employees, co-workers and friends. We can provide a wrapped Toy/Gift Collection Box along with flyers and ideas to help make your toy drive successful and fun. If you would like to have a wrapped collection box provided, please request one by clicking here or emailing giftmart@loveoutloudws.com

  2. Set a time frame and a place where you will collect the TOYS. Allow 10 days to bring in toys and send out lots of fun progress reminders prior to the DUE DATE. REMEMBER – the amount collected doesn’t matter, whether it’s 2, 20, or 200 – each toy is important and adds to our final goal.

  3. Drop your toys off at an alternate drop off location through December 6th. Alternate drop off locations will be available closer to the event. Check Back Here. The Gift Mart Team will also collect toys/gifts at the Benton Convention Center, 301 W. 5th St., Winston Salem, NC on Friday, December 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  4. Have an Amazon Wishlist Toy Drive. Tell your friends about the Gift Mart through a social media post. Encourage them to order items from the Gift Mart Amazon Wish List by December 6th. Their purchased gifts will be delivered directly to the Gift Mart Team.

Consider copying the following statement to your Facebook:

“Parents want to provide for their children. But some find themselves in very tight places and are having a challenge doing so. The Christmas for the City Gift Mart provides an opportunity for parents to purchase new and like-new holiday gifts and toys for their children at a cost of $2 to $5 each. Let’s help these families out by ordering something from their Amazon Wishlist (www.christmasforthecity.com/amazon-wish-list) by December 6th.”
If you need someone to come to your office, school, etc. to pick up the toys, we can make that happen too!
